EMMA CAFFERY JACKSON

Emma Caffery Jackson passed away September 15, 2008 at the age of 101. Born in Franklin, Louisiana she lived her last 69 years in Metairie. She was the daughter of the late Martha Taylor and Donelson Caffery; wife of the late Edward R. Jackson; survived by her two sons Rader Jackson and Donelson C. Jackson; four grandchildren Craig R. Jackson, Cris R. Jackson, Caffery R. Jackson and Donelson C. Jackson; six great grandchildren Harold, Shelby, Charles, Gracie, Rader and Christian Jackson; and her daughters-in-law Pepper B. Jackson and Susie W. Jackson.
She was a member of DAR and the Junior League of New Orleans. A private service has been held. Her family suggests that any donations in her memory be sent to the Junior League of New Orleans, Inc. 4319 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70115 or any charity of choice.
